eighteen years. Most commonly, they play for the open
and closing of the festival day, jousting events, royal
proclamations, and weddings.
Holiday Festivals such as “Dickens on the Strand in
Galveston” and “A Victorian Christmas on 6th
Street” in Austin have invited the Texas Brass Herald
Trumpets to perform in Christmases past.

greeting the arrival of guests in full regalia.
Fanfares are in demand at sports festivals and the
Texas Brass Herald Trumpets have performed at the Summer
Qualifying Olympics held in Houston and recorded for the
Goodwill Games in Seattle.
